As we enter the final (and often busiest) stretch of the year, we're focusing on building momentum — how marketers are using smarter workflows to move faster, lighten the load, and focus on the work that actually matters. We’re spotlighting real automation examples from big-name brands to help you get inspired for 2026, but we're also sharing practical tips and features to help you close out 2025 strong. What we're talking about this month: 🤖 How automation actually make marketing more human 📌 Braze tips & tricks 🛠️ Our take on Braze’s newest releases 🪡 Resources you can use to hone your craft: including our upcoming gamification webinar! STITCH IN TIME How automation actually makes marketing more human 🤖 Say farewell to sore eyes late at night, dreading last-minute pivots, and burnout — the new reality for marketing is here. Marketing is a high-pressure treadmill. Keeping up with offer changes, copy tweaks, and extra suppressions often means tired eyes that miss details. But now, a promising new possibility is on the horizon. We’ve hit a moment where AI and automation can actually make marketing more human. Not by replacing the work marketers do, but by removing or reducing the parts that drain time, energy, and creativity. With agentic workflows powered by tools like n8n, model context protocols (MCPs), large language models (LLMs), and APIs, the dull-but-critical tasks that once ate up entire days can now be handled in minutes. And yes, the AI acronym soup can feel overwhelming. But the impact is real. Not in a glossy “sci-fi future” kind of way, but in a “this actually works and makes my life easier” kind of way. The easiest way to get started? Don’t overthink it. Look at the pain points in your current process — the repetitive, error-prone steps your team dreads. For Whataburger, it was campaign composition. Getting messages from brief to built in Braze was a heavy manual lift. We built a Composition Agent that pulls campaign briefs from ClickUp, fetches creative assets from Figma, builds dynamic email content and Canvas journeys in Braze, prepares segmentation, and updates ClickUp once it’s done. What used to take multiple people & teams 4 hours now takes a single person less than 3 minutes. For Taco Bell, QA was their biggest hurdle. Checking hundreds of configurations before launch taxed their already lean team and still left room for error. We connected Jira, Google Docs, Sharepoint, and Braze to launch a QA Agent. This intelligent automation runs 200 QA checks per email and provides detailed status updates — slashing QA time from two hours to under a minute. This is only the beginning. We’re building other agents, like a Compliance Agent for marketing teams in highly regulated industries who have to pore over every detail to ensure they're compliant with the law. Imagine the power of combining Composition Agent + Compliance Agent + QA Agent to handle the heavy lifting of enterprise marketing. No more mundane grind, just fast, end-to-end campaign timelines. Because when agents handle the busywork, marketers finally get to do the work only humans can do: think, create, collaborate, imagine — and maybe even get a full night’s sleep. We can help make it happen. - Dan Elman Solution Architect & Aspiring Sitcom Writer PIN IT Braze tips & tricks 📌 IP warming is both an art and a science. The world of email service providers offers very limited insights when marketers try to build their IP reputation, making it hard — and let’s face it, almost painful — to understand why some messages fail. The Message Activity Log is truly a gift that offers clear context around message delivery status like bounces and deferrals. And now, Braze has made the feature even better. Marketers can now see the Message Activity Log directly in every Campaign and Canvas step, removing the hassle of searching for this data separately. Teams can instantly spot delivery issues that are specific to each send and fix them quickly. While many issues are caught during IP warming, this tool is invaluable for mitigating any problems that arise in time-sensitive campaigns once your Braze instance is fully live, saving time and protecting customer engagement. - Tatum Lynch Solution Architect & HUGE Women's Basketball Fan (Go Hoosiers!) PATCHWORK Decoding Braze product updates 🛠️ Here's what caught our team's eye this month. AI Features New Features for Braze Agents [Beta] - You can now train your Agents in Braze to utilize your brand guidelines to ensure their responses match your content guidelines. You can also leverage a catalog to personalize your messages. Why it matters: This new functionality gives you additional control over how agents work in your Braze workspace. Data Flexibility & Availability Custom Attribute Values - Ever wondered what the exact values were in your custom attributes? Now you can see the top values based on a sample of users! Go to Data Settings > Custom Attributes > Usage Report to view. Our team is loving this update! Note: It is not available for all object types yet. Why it matters: This new feature de-mystifies values sent into custom attributes and gives marketers a way to view and identify inconsistent/dirty data. New Braze Integrations StackAdapt - StackAdapt is an advertising platform that leverages AI to maximize your ad spend to target users most likely to respond. You can now sync your first-party data directly to StackAdapt through Braze. Why it matters: By leveraging data you already have about your users, you can create hyper-targeted campaigns to meet business goals. Think re-engaging lapsed customers, converting leads, driving second purchases, etc. Cloudinary - Cloudinary’s platform gives marketers the ability to deliver personalized/contextual images and videos to their users across channels (email, web, in-app, etc). Now you can leverage the power of Cloudinary in campaigns and canvases. Why it matters: For teams already leveraging Cloudinary for other channels, this integration allows you to leverage it in your outbound channels as well. WhatsApp & In-App Message Features Add a Background Image in Rows for IAM - You can now add a background image to a row when building an InApp message. Why it matters: This gives designers more flexibility when building beautiful and compelling IAMs. Optimized Delivery for WhatsApp Messages - A new Meta API gives marketers the ability to target users who are most likely to engage with a message sent via WhatsApp. Why it matters: It can help increase deliverability and your phone quality rating while also increasing engagement with WhatsApp messages. WhatsApp Flows - Ever wanted to craft engaging, interactive campaigns in WhatsApp? Now you can with Flows! When you create your Flow, you can generate the custom attribute as well as the response that Braze will expect when you launch your campaign. Why it matters: You can now create engaging campaigns and generate more information/preferences about their users via WhatsApp. Your engineering team can also ensure that the campaigns will generate data properly, so this information is captured correctly. - Cat Mears Business Strategist & Literal Cat Herder HONE YOUR CRAFT Our top resources this month 🪡 Get your game face on.
